Since 1986, Angela Hartwig has been working as an Advocate, Researcher and Trainer and is the CEO of a non-government peak body for Domestic and Family Violence in Western Australia. Her experience has been wide and varied in the areas of policy, program development and legislative reform, working at a grassroots, state, national, and international level.
She has worked in the Community Service sector for 30 years, and in 2016 completed a Higher Degree by Research (Masters in Philosophy) within the School of Occupational Therapy and Social Work at Curtin University in Perth Australia. She also has formal qualifications in Social Science; Women’s Studies, Politics, and Workplace Training and Assessment.
In 2011, Angela was Inducted into the Western Australia Inaugural Women’s Hall of Fame as a Women’s Activist for her significant contribution in the area of domestic and family violence.
